Policies & Procedures

Acton Cemetery asks all visitors to be respectful and considerate of our rules and regulations. These rules help us maintain a beautiful and dignified resting place for loved ones as well as a peaceful and comforting space for visitors. Our rules and regulations are as follows:

• No planting of trees or shrubs

• All flowers must be planted on either side (if room permits) or directly in front of headstones.

• Decorations must be on, or as close as possible to, headstones. Please be considerate of surrounding grave sites.

• Any broken, weathered, misplaced, or out of season decorations will be removed at the discretion of the sexton.

• Benches are permitted only with approval of the sexton and must be on a foundation.
